Curly....you need to get with it! 
There are 4 games left in the baseball season, the next Nats win or Braves loss will give them the National East Division Title.
Thus the number "1", that is the "Magic number".
In 1960, the Washington Senators became the Minnesota Twins. But the city got a new team who then left after the 1971 season to become the Texas Rangers. We were forced to root for the Orioles (not a bad thing except when they got Angelos as an owner) but I became a Kansas City Royals fan since Cookie Rojas played for them. We are kin.
In 2005 we got a new team and we have already qualified for the playoffs.
It just doesn't get any better than that! 
Actually...it does. We could get in to the World Series!!

I hope they can pull it off without any drama. . They have struggled a bit as of late....maybe the Pirates will do us a favor!

CONGRATS NATS!!!!!! I can't think of a team that has deserved to win the NL East Title more than the Nats this season. It will be a thrilling ride for the playoffs. They have proven they are "in" every game, no matter what the score.
