Sounds fun, but I will need a boat. I have shore fished a few times with success, but I want a "bigger" experience....and possibly a tick free one too!

I have sea kayaked 3 times when i was younger and once in the pavilion lake
I dont care either way canoe is fine and so is kayak
this weekend I'm trying to start building a jon boat so if I get that up in time but I don't think it will be I will use it. Trying to buy some tools off craigslist circular saw and jig saw so far the looking is good

If you cannot get the tools you can stop by my house and borrow the saws.

i have never had any luck at BD where are the fish that i can get to by boat. I have only been out walking around the edges

They hang out where the rocks are under the water. Only plan b and purpleworm know where that is since they GPSed it when the reservoir was dry!! Smart move on their part.
Look for points, creek entrances etc.
