3-23 Crappie and bonus NSH

Got out this morning to pull crappie jigs before the winds kicked up.  Caught 32 crappie and kept 6 for fish tacos.  One of the rods started squealing and I thought I had a big bass.  Once the fish rolled near the surface, I saw that it was a snakehead.  Grabbed he net quickly and it was in the boat.  Not a bad size at 24" big_smile .  Wind started to pick up around 10 and it was time to go in.  That's my second snakehead from LKA and both were on a crappie jig.

Next to walleye, NSH is the best tasting fresh water  fish out there! Beats striper too IMHO.

Nice work!

Time to go fishin' again!
