I can wrap up my last two solo outings in one word: ROUGH!!
The river is low and clear and definitely a challenge to fish. My last two outings I focused on hitting known winter areas knowing that fish are going to be close by to them this time of year. I caught two little guys one day on a small little z-man style swimbaits a purple color. Through a suspending jerkbait and another bottom bouncing plastic that day with nothing
I went out this past week on Tuesday when it was 72 and saw a few schools of carp and catfish swimming around and again caught just two little guys on a Ned rig style finesse plastic in about a foot of water.
Hoping to get out next Monday and maybe some stable cooler temperatures will will help a little bit and I can get a few to hit the old suspending jerk bait

We sure do need some rain. A couple of days ago, the forecast was strong for some agua. But now they are calling for less and may not impact water levels or color. And winter is coming! ![]()

You got out, plus caught a few.
I am sorry to hear it is that tough. I can only fish from shore at this level. They are on the move to find food until water gets below 50 degrees, so they could be anywhere.
