"Mama said there'll be days like this...There'll be days like this, Mama said."

Our original plan was altered because there was a crew (known to us) of 3 boats that was gonna be filming and tagging on the river going out of the same ramp we were. Not wanting to be in traffic, we chose another ramp up river.

The morning was crisp...no, COLD!

Water temps were @57dF this morning and the level at POR was at 1' when we took out.

Once the sun came up, it made things better.

Today was tough. So tough that this guy showed up!

It's been a long while since he show up.  roll

We fished shallow water, deep water, slow water, fast water. You name it, we did it. And we threw the kitchen sink at 'em.

For the day, I had 2 bites (actually saw the little runt snip at my bait) and Mike had 1 bite.

We were crushed! mad

We did see a bunch of kitties and 1 walleye that was roaming around but other than the one bass I saw...that was it!

When we got back to the ramp, we met up with the other crews and they reported catching 5 fish in total. They even went all the way down to White's Ferry. One boat was a River Rocket and another was a Rhino Jet similar to the one I just sold.

We also heard from someone who floated Algonkian to Riverbend and they only caught 4 fish.

The high pressure system after this Nor'easter definitely had them in hiding  and none of us could really figure it out.

Lunch at Big Belly's was a huge lift. They were slammed,...too many people finding out about this place. lol

Mike and Chris had the smash burger and I had crispy chicken tacos. Three of them. A huge meal. I had to bring one of them home for later.

It was a strange day for sure but super glad to be able to go out.

Interestingly, animal life was to the minimum. But we did hear a cow.

Wasn't just you, Saturday was probably my worst day of the year. At least you finished with some good food, I had 7-11 for dinner.
