Got out early to an overcast day. The waters were heavy with hydrilla and it choked up the primary waters leaving small gaps in the channel where I was able to paddle in.
There were what looked to be gizzard shad jumping everywhere around me as I worked through the water and there was good activity. I had a lot of chases, but no bites on the frogs. Made me realize after too long that I needed to match the bait fish everyone was feeding on. Literally on my first cast of a similar bait (whiter color) I get a fished hooked and lost it immediately. The day was kind of like that even getting a bird caught on the line. The seagulls were crazy feeding and annoying, but a decent bass made up for the day and life was good again!

I realized that it's hard to see when there is a chase or things that just catch the eye when you can't zoom in, so I figured out how to crop the video and just replay is slower to help. I'm not much at this, but I'm getting better at sharing. I have always relied on my notes and such for conditions and timing, so having a video really helps with historical accounts.

It was definitely a good day to be on the water. Overcast like this made it seem like the fish were actually willing to chase. Nicely done
