Pacemaker Fishing Forum

Got out a little after 8:30 in the chilly wind.  Set out 6 rods about a mile from the house.  Within 15 minutes a rod starts screaming and Cody is up.  Benjamin and I have to bring in the other 5 rods because this fish is giving Cody everything it has.  He can hardly reel after 10 minutes and wants to tap out.  After some encouragement he finally gets it to the boat and I net it.  What a pig......measures 28" and fat!  It is his personal best striper and almost as wide as him.

Benjamin is up next and we get hammered again within 20 minutes.  Have to turn the boat on this one to keep it out of the other lines.  He gets it to the net and a nice fat 25" fish.

Now the wind is blowing 15-20 and they are getting cold.  We fish for another hour and call it quits.  Here's both boys with their fish in a wind-protected cove.

Back to the house for chili dogs!
