Pacemaker Fishing Forum

Well, the fish have been in a funk since the water temp got to 90.  They have been deep and not very active the last 2 weeks.  Went out this morning down lake and started looking in 30-50 FOW.  After almost 2 hours I found a school hugging the bottom in 48 FOW.  Long way down there!  Put on my trusty 2 oz Kastmaster knockoff (half price of a real Kastmaster).  Took forever to hit bottom!.  BAM!  Fish on first drop.....Keeper.  Next 2 drops also produce keepers .  Third drop is nada.  Cast out a bit because wind drifted me a bit and solid hookup!  Four keepers in 10-12 minutes .

It was 8 am, so I headed in to clean fish.  Benjamin and Cody show up tomorrow for a week of grandad fishing camp.  Hope to put them on some jigging fish in a couple days.
