Climate change my a$$. Nowhere does anyone mention that farmers up river of the Potomac and Lake Anna are adding solid chicken and hog waste to their fields as fertilizer as a cheep alternative to adding the granular fertilizers. The hog and chicken wastes are cost-free......they just pay to have it hauled in at a fraction of the cost. One of the main reasons that LKA has had algae blooms and e. coli issues the past 2 years. The chicken/hog waste is not regulated in Virginia or W. Virginia.

Yeap!
Every time I see one of these articles blaming "climate change", I look away because they write just to write. No science. As Mr. Trump would say, Fake News! They don't tell you the real deal!
I guess heavy rains means climate change. And droughts? These things have never happened before, just recently because of climate change. What BS!
Most of the Chesapeake Bay's issues are from run off as well.
OK...I'm done for now.
