ABCs 9-5

Fished the ABCs for a couple hours this morning.  Lost a nice 3 lber that broke me off in the weeds trying to land it.  Did catch 17 bass on a wacky worm, but nothing over 14".

Nice...I was out for a stogie before lunch. Got one dink on the 1st cast and one, a little over a pound (total guess).  Had several other bites but they just stole a leg. Used a Strike King hollow body craw stuffed with a weigh and a rattle.

Ok, I have to ask. I took the kids bobber fishing last saturday afternoon for bit in the C lake. What is that pond monster that is in there. I saw it in the spring also. It isn't a koi. Dorsal fin doesn't right for a regular grass carp. Not a catfish either.

I think it is a grass carp. An overgrown one! He roots on the shoreline and scoots (putting it mildly) when he see you, creating a huge dust cloud.

The thing is a beast!
