Looking like we might get significant snow again beginning Sunday night thru Monday...........IF it holds, I'll post a prediction thread on Friday with a Saturday evening deadline.

Re: President's Day Snowstorm

A Sunday night storm would be perfect. Come on snow! After that, I'll take a nice warming trend that leads into an early Spring. I don't ask for much tongue

Re: President's Day Snowstorm

Pacemaker Forum is just full of good news today. Can't eat the fish, Virginia Power wants to poison the ones that are left, and now Curly wants to bury us in another snow. It can't possibly snow again, a new snow blower was delivered here yesterday.

Someone post some good news, even if you have to make it up.  PLEASE!

Re: President's Day Snowstorm

Like clockwork....would love to see how many President's Day storms we've had over the years.

But I would rather have snow than ice.....

The good news would have been that I would have been flying to FL this afternoon.....but Jonas took a few dollars out of my pocket (fix drywall, paint etc).

This. Haha. Bad news, it's pretty darn cold to go after them this weekend. Good news, more elbow room.

More good news is that they are stocking trout in Lake Fairfax starting on Feb. 14. Must buy passes at park to fish for them.

Re: President's Day Snowstorm

I really want spring to get here.....more predictions from the crazy guy. Hope he is right.

------------------------------------------------------------

IS THIS IT FOR THE WINTER? NO IT IS NOT !!

To be sure AFTER Tuesday we enter a quiet period over the eastern US from FEB 18-19 to the FEB20-21. THEN the pattern r loads-- by that I mean a NEW cold pattern redevelops with BIG Ridge in the jet stream over western Canada that sends in a new cold air mass in back into the Plains Midwest and East coast FEB 21-22. That cold front stalls over the southeast states and some sort of winter Low develops on the front FEB 23-25

There is also a THREAT - a window of opportunity -- for a East coast winter storm MARCH 4-8. AFTER that threat THEN it will be Truly over.

Looks like we got about 3 inches here before it changes over to ice/rain.
