No way they lost that from a trailer without knowing about it, sure would like to see the rest of the story. I laid a 1973 Grady on northbound Rt 301 back in 1982. I'll never forget that evening, it was pouring rain. Southbound Helena Roberta Kuzniar (of Waldorf, MD) had too much to drink and came across the median catching my rear bumber. The bumper, trailer, boat and motor were all dragged up on a rollback, and hauled away. Meanwhile, Helena Roberta Kuzniar got her act together and got back to the southbound lanes and made it home. Another S. bound driver wrote down her tag number earlier when she ran them off the road. The good samaritan stopped and handed it to the State Police who found her drunk on her sofa. She was charged with leaving the scene and paid a fine. There's more to the story, but it p's me off just remembering it.
The resolution.... the settlement on my paid for Grady made for the down payment on a little C-Hawk.
Whoever dropped that boat is in for hard times, I feel for him.
