Tues. and Thurs. with Odenkirk this week for Snakeheads

Caught them this week for VA-DEQ.  They are studying the flesh for toxins (like they find in catfish).  Saw tons of bass while netting NSH.  Big NSH fish was today and around 12 lbs.  It was a beast.  Sorry, no pics.......no time to take photos.  My back is sore..............it's hard work, but fun.

He saves on paying someone by having you along and then wears you out!

Actually, it's a cool thing to do. I just hope those toxins are minimal. I love eating that fish and I am out so time to go get some!

Like Halibut for the shoulder meat....the tail meet even more delicate. Firm and white.

The best way to cook it is whatever your favorite way is; grill, fry, stir fry, bake, saute.....
