Beaverdam

Anyone know if the Mt. Hope road access to Beaverdam is open yet?
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: Beaverdam

I drove by yesterday and it didn't look open.  BUT, I was just looking as I drove by.

Re: Beaverdam

I don't think so, I didn't see any cars parked there yesterday.  You could always access the church lot however they're doing it now.

I launched on the other side yesterday.  Water was 52 in the open, 59 in a shallow area on the west side.  I caught one perch and a 14" largemouth.

Re: Beaverdam

It is open...Mt. Hope Road winds around but safe to get to the water.

The traditional put in places are somewhat blocked.

But this sign is very encouraging!

If we all play nice, we have a heck of a launch area!

Re: Beaverdam

The guy in the pic has a boat with a motor on it?  He doesn't look like a Rowing Coach.  Did they change the rules?

Re: Beaverdam

Yes, he was a coach. I approached him (he was new)  and startled him a bit. The other coach came by and said they had the exemption which I know they have.

NO GAS MOTORS!

There was another new sign that I should have taken a picture of.

The place looks nice....the kids clean it up and so should we.

Is that the launch right behind the church?
