The wife surprised me with an early 14th wedding anniversary gift. Can't wait to get it wet.

That is a great yak! Now you get to rig it with all sorts of gadgets (fishfinder, fishing crate, rod holders, etc, etc).
Hook1 (www.kayakfishinggear.com) is a Wilderness Systems dealer/rep and has a lot of unique equipment specifically made for Wilderness Systems yaks. Chad Hoover owns Hook1 and is a good friend and nice guy.

GregF , I already order some stuff from Hook1 ;-) I've seen Chad on TV, his show is great... He seems like a great guy, would love to meet him and fish with him of course.

Nice yak.. My crew Saturday saw two yaks this weekend that had crates in the front of yak..rod holders mounted on the crates. How can you switch from one side to the other with all that stuff in front of you.
Seems it really limits your ability to fight a large fish.

mjuarez,
Tyler (TyF....aka my son) and I fished with him earlier this year (hoping to get out with him again in August). He was a great guide and has some secret spots that really produce. I am not sure if he officially "guides". Tyler is actually getting sponsored by Hook1 now.

115?
Careful w/ your side casts where that rod hold sits. I've broken a rod that way.
Now the fun begins - customizing it.
