Right now just fish for them like bass. When the weeds grow in, fish the bassy areas like lily pads, grass and algae mats but then keep going back and fish the shallow, oxygen depleted stuff that you would normally look over because bass aren't there. Snakeheads can breath air so they can live in such places easily.

Oh, and get a frog rod, braid, some hollow bodied frogs, and some toads.

Look for holes in the grass, twitches of the pads and gulps of air. Speed of the retrieve varys for each Potomac Pike.

I had one of those until my basement flooded last summer and I threw it away. They sent me one when I caught a snakehead that had been tagged and reported it's size and location to Fish and Wildlife.
