The computer weather models are starting to converge, and show some significant snow for Western and Northern Virginia on Sunday.
None of the TV meteorologists are calling for it.
I am thinking we might be getting some. However, that is OK, because the tarp is on the boat!

As a matter of fact, you (Curly) and I have been burned by them on many occasions with busted fishing trips.
That is true, and it is a very bad feeling. We have also gone out and they are right, also a bad feeling.
It does seem that spring stroms take almost everyone by surprise. The weather forcast I heard is not ready to give up on a Sunday pm storm.

I hope there's a storm, might mean the fish turn on this weekend! Think I'm gonna do some bass fishing.

Not going to snow on Monday as I originally posted. You changed the rules/date in a later post
. We might get a dusting to 2" on Sunday ![]()

Rules? I said it might snow on either side of Monday. President's Day is still Monday. If it snows at 12:01 AM on Monday....it snowed on Monday! ![]()

OK, if you say so.

It all depends on the temperature down here. Hopefully nothing major. Been such a pleasant winter...why ruin it now?

I totally agree.....
Weather is hard to predict and this storm has too many factors and variables that are messin' with the experts. Since I have not been fishing, I have been following their (wxrisk) chatter. The local stations just jumped on the snow bandwagon a day or 2 ago. Wxrisk started saying we were going to get something around the 20th (+ or - a day) back on the 10th. They are going to be close.
Right as of now, Weather Undergoround is predicting 55 and sunny for our area on Monday. Accuweather says 45. How can they be off by 10 degrees? But they both agree on NE winds of 5-15.
