fished chantilly tonight

did reasonably well throwing my 1/16 tiny twister
caught maybe a dozen bass and a few bluegill

the best bass were only about 12",
MANY WERE SMALLER
great to be catching fish just after ice-out tho
funny thing was, all the bites were on the slick section of the water
did not get a single hit on the bank that had wind on it

around sundown went over to anotherpond out there
pretty much dark, but i hiit two nice 2# bass on the same bait
both made a good showing on the light tackle
i call it an outstanding outing
