Fished the Potomac with Thai this morning. I got skunked and Thai got one bass. On the way home, a large rock falls off a dump truck and smashes my windshield .....will cost me $100 deductible to be replaced on Monday. Backed the trailer in the garage and see that a trailer axle bearing blew out ..... lucky I got it home, but that will be expensive too. Drowned my sorrows at Cedar after lunch and caught 57 bass and 59 blue gill..........nothing over 2 lbs, so no pics.
Oh yeah.........and met RoneyK out there. Nice to meet you Roney.

Wow! Glad the rock thing wasn't worst, did you get a license plate number? Legally they are responsible for anything falling off or kicked up by their vehicle. And how did the axle bearing blow do you know?

Amazing that some little animals that live in the water can bring some calm....

Got the tag and name of the trucking company and gave it to my insurance company.
Bearing was replaced less than 2 years ago. The axle and tire were hot when I got home. Will probably have to take the axle off to get it fixed......don't think I can haul it to be fixed without it locking up .

The spindle and hub are trashed. Only pieces of bearing left. Pulled the axle off this afternoon. Not going to be cheap to get fixed . Boat/trailer are out of commission for now................
