Well, I went out this morning intent on targeting crappie.  Put out my reverse spider rig and started looking around with the trolling motor.  After about 15 minutes I started marking a ton of stripers in 13 feet.  Grabbed the casting spoon rod and hooked up a very nice hybrid right away.  While bringing that fish in, one of my crappie rods starts squeeling.  Get the pig hybrid in the boat and run back the the spooling crappie rod.  Eventually get that hybrid in the boat too.  That was my first trolling/casting double ever.  The smaller one was 20-1/4" and the larger one was a 23+" pig.

Stayed on the school for a while and caught 3 more stripers (a fat 23" and 24" fish; one was a short fish).  Then they disappeared. Ellen came down to the dock to take a pic of me with the limit .
