I was wreck diving in the Caymans and did an upside down lift from a floor of a boat that split in 1/2. When I looked into behind the ledge, I was staring nose to nose with a HU-FREAK'N-MOUNGOUS grouper. Turned out he was tame, use to humans and curious. Later found a post card of the grouper in the dive shop.

Scared the living be-Jesus out of me.

Diving at Pennekamp in the Keys with a group watching the divemaster feed a big 6 ft moray eel. Little did I know I was floating above the back door to the Moray's home. He came up out of his back door bit my fin and slithered all the way up my body in contact with me from toe to head......I had to change my shorts after finishing that dive! We are definitely not the king of the ocean or even near the top.
