Storen gets the save!!
In my opinion, this save will be a defining moment in the Nats 2014 season.
After the blown saves from Soriano lately, this was greatly needed. A huge sigh of relief from me.
For me, this is the greatest time of the year. Baseball pennant races and white perch!!
Time to go fishin' again!

100% agree. He was solid and got the job done with only a 1 run cushion. Showed he could handle the pressure AND he went up against Howard for the 3rd out. PLEASE keep him in that role!

I thought the switch to Drew was long overdue.
Easy to criticize -hard to do
Today, Johnny and Ray said it outloud,
Will Soriano be on the playoff roster?

He was not smooth today but got the save after letting in a run.
I was hoping he would not untuck his shirt but he did.

soriano is no longer young.

I feel like at this point the effect on team Morale isnt worth the risk of playing him.
I never cared for the guy. last years I said I would rather see the team lose with a kid from the minors-ad opposed to enduring another soriano drama fest

I agree. Soriano is such a wild card that he brings instability to the team. Right now, the team has confidence in Storen. Storen finally has his confidence back and is shutting the other team down. Ride that wave as long as you can. Hopefully right through the World Series!
Speaking of confidence....gotta love the return of Zimmerman to the batting lineup! But I still would rather have Rendon at 3rd through the rest of the season. He has a much more dependable throw to first. I can think of several outs that Rendon made that Zimmerman never would have made because of his high arch throw to first now. But I love Zimmerman's batting.

Zimm will be a spot player during the ring quest.

Ryans arm is worn out. But he has done so much for the club.
He is a clutch guy.
Maybe 1st base next year.
He could be a great glove in the outfield, but has no arm
