What scale do you use?

Anybody have a recommendation for a scale? Preferably digital.

Re: What scale do you use?

Digital never make it 2 years on my boat. I would suggest a real boga grip. They are very accurate unlike my bogus grips for 1/10 the price.
Digital always short out and rust away.
I use the elbow scale and it is UPS calibrated. Or maybe a Pitney Bowes certification since this the Pacemaker site.

The elbow scale is certified by the user. They are always right! Getting a scale "certified" is a costly endeavor. Getting one calibrated is easier.

I use my scale less and less anymore. I have one in the boat for bass tourneys but I don't know who makes it. I don't take one in the yak.

I use a Berkley digital.  Clips to my fishing backpack.  It has held up for several years without any problems.....except having to change the batteries a few times.  I highly recommend it smile .

I agree the Boga Grip (real one).  I had a cheapo knockoff version and the Snakehead spun out of it.  Bogas are expensive but worth it for bigger, toothy fishes.  Will last forever too.

Re: What scale do you use?

Thanks guys. I was at Gander Mountain last weekend buying a bunch of stuff I didn't need, and I completely forgot to check out the scales. tongue

The last one I had was a Berkley digital. I liked it because it easily fit into my wading bag, and it was accurate too. May go that direction again.
