I am new to launching from Algonkian. Can I get an exact location or address? Also, would the plan be to launch and pickup at the same place?

Algonkian Regional Park in Cascades. Over near Potomac Falls HS.

Yes.....some of the guys will paddle up river and drift down as they fish the islands. But there is good water 200-300 yards from the ramp.
It will get busy and noisy by 11.....

Make sure y'all have fishing licencese & wear your life vests.
I always have a licence, but it cost me $90 a few years back to remember to have my vest on.

Monday 92 degrees, sunny, with not much chance of rain and no wind (4mph). I agree with Ernie's suggestion of getting started early, before the temps rise and the boaters go crazy.
