Been a while since I've been able to get back on the water...

Rob and I met CT Campbell at 7:20a in Luray to begin our shuttle.

What a glorious day it was shaping to be!

When you see a bunch of pics like this, it makes you wonder. "Did they catch any fish?".

Well, if you are a big fish hunter, go look somewhere else. lol

Rob had me down 3-0 from the getgo. I remember being tied at 5-5. After that....its a blur.

While most fish were smallish (8-12"), we got a bunch of 13"+ fish and the biggie of the day at 16.5"

Here are some of the pics we took.

Oh, I did mention that I love fishing from other people's boat right?

At 11a, we guessed that we ere over 50 fish and we were still a couple of hours away from One Hour Hole.

We caught a boatload of fish. Never, have we caugt that many. CT says it may be a Top 5 Day for him when it comes to numbers. Did we get 100? Yep, easily. Did we get 150? I think so. Did we get 200? Maybe not!

Man, what a day.

There were times when we had our lures in the water and were distracted, then we picked up our line and there was a fish on it. This did not happen once or twice. It happened a half dozen times...at least!

We also lost a ton of fish. I commented that if we had caught the fish we lost and no other, we would have had a great day.

Theses fish were hungry and angry. I would say something like, "this is a nicer one" and it was another 13"er fighting it's butt off.

What a great day. I am tired.

Time to go fishin' again!

It's an awesome day. Yeah it's nice to catch the big ones, but when you're having action like that all day, who cares

Couple years ago a bunch of drunk college kids floated by me on tubes.  One of the girls was passed out with her bikini bottoms missing.  Her butt was so red it was starting to blister.  We decided to let her be
