yesterday evening on the south fork. just paddled around a hole.

took one rod and a spinnerbait. luckily, they seemed to like it. got about 6 or 8 fish. most were small. one smallie was 13" and got an 18" largemouth that was quite healthy.
missed another big largemouth and that was it. good to get out for a bit though.

lots of trash at the access point. always good to have bag or three to pick some of it up

gotcha. I used to fish Andy Guest State Park in Bentonville. Very beautiful area but very difficult wading.

the wading can be treacherous with all the bedrock ledges and weeds that grow in the summertime.

I was down at Karo the other day though. the majority of my fishing is from newport to karo, as its the closest stretch
