I have a CAN P data adapter for Mercury for sale. The adapter come's with a special ordered male to male  cable and an extension cable. These three items normally cost 800.00 bucks. Will let go for 200.00 bucks.
The cable adapter get's hooked to the data port on your Mercury Motor and the Nmea 2000 connector get's hooked to your network. This allows gauges to be shown on your Lowrance or Garmin or any head unit that has NMEA 2000.
Data is limited to stuff like RPM , speed , fuel usage and water pressure/temp. More data on some engines and head units.
It a piece of mind on the state of your engine.
