Inline Spinners

I have always loved throwing a #4 Gold Mepps for river smallies. Recently, they are hard to find in any retail or online stores, and when you do, they are expensive!
Would love to hear alternatives that people might have.
Already anticipating George saying he makes his own LOL.
BTW, George, I've done very well at Beauchene with them.

Re: Inline Spinners

I see what you are saying.  Not sure if you are looking for dressed or plain.  They seem to be over $10.  You might want to check for Chinese knockoffs.

Re: Inline Spinners

A few years ago, at an auction, I scored a bunch of in line spinners in various condition and age. Many were Mepps.

After cleaning them up, I sold some of the nicer ones, gave a bunch away to the HS kids and kept a few for white perch and pickle fishing. Then I found out that smallies liked them in the summer time. Of course, I changed all of mine to single hooks (yes, they did just fine).

Time to go fishin' again!

Re: Inline Spinners

As an FYI, the Blue Fox Vibrax Spinner is a good alternative. Easier to find and cheaper!

Re: Inline Spinners

So I found the Blue Fox Vibrax's in size 4 and 5 on Temu. I figured WTF, get em. They arrived today. I paid $27.00 for 10 of them. DEAL!

You know me well

BTW, George, I've done very well at Beauchene with them

Inlines also work well on our local rivers and in salt water
