Lake Fairfax Veterans Family Trout Derby, Nov. 1 , 2025

The Lake Fairfax Veterans Family Trout Derby is a FREE event to honor our Service Members and their Families.

Donations are welcome by visiting www.fishingcommunity.org.

FishingCommunity.Org has teamed up Fairfax County Park Authority for the Annual Lake Fairfax Veterans Family Trout Derby.

Date:  Nov. 1 , 2025

Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston

What's included:

- All Fishing Equipment for our Wounded Heroes and their families
- Lunch for our Wounded Heroes and their families provided by Mission BBQ!!
- Lessons from the pros
- Fishing:  This is an informal shore fishing event for Wounded, Injured or ILL Heroes, Veterans and their families/support personnel.
- keeper trout to take home
