Tears of the Devil

Spices must have gotten expensive.  Thai food hasn't made me sweat in a while.

But this stuff - WOW.  Been a while since I've sweated so much.

Re: Tears of the Devil

Haven't heard of that one.

We have Thai birdseye chiles, Chinese 5 color, jalapeno, scorpions, ghost peppers, and Carolina reapers in the garden this year. Last year I dried some reapers and ghost peppers and ground them up into a powder to use as seasoning. Too hot for me but my psycho coworkers love it. I can't handle too much spice but I love to watch people eat it big_smile

Tears of the Devil comes from Nam Viet Restaurant in Arlington. Hot is a mild word for it!

Re: Tears of the Devil

I tried grounding up dried spices in the kitchen once.  Was like tear gas released through the house.  Wife decided that was not a good idea.

LOL ain't that the truth. I did it in the basement and that is no longer allowed. I wore a covid mask and eye protection and the dust still cleared out my sinuses.
