Folks,
This is usually my end of fishing season and the last two outings I had weren't all that great. I'm wondering what you all fish for this time of year and where? I know the SM are biting still (according to the reports), but I don't get up there that often towards POR. Any other suggestions? I'm all ears and open to all other types (Cat, Carp, WP, etc..). Thank you in advance!

Large mouth bass will be feeding.
Crappie will be schooling.
Perch will be leaving the shallow water.

The rain isn't helping either with clarity of the water, so it seems fishing will be pushed off for some time. Share any techniques you guys are using also!

Small mouth bite when the water's wet
So do LM
And with enough gas, there's always fish to catch

Things are just about to get good in the bay and tributaries. You can get on stripers, specks, reds and several other saltwater species within 90 minutes of Fredericksburg.

I'm getting reports from upstate NY and Canada. Because of the warm weather, the fishing's been epic

Potomac River should be good your way for LM and Stripers.

Nice! Never tried before, but I'm thinking I could go down to my niece's home in heathesville (northern neck) with the yak or just take her boat out for a while and see what I see!!

Love that area. I've caught a lot of nice fish of all different species around there.
