March 30 Shad at the "O"

Got out there early at 6:45 and only one other person at the foot bridge.  I decided to just fish from the shore knowing there would be a lot of boaters out.  It was a frigid morning and the bite was slow to start.  The other angler and I worked together to figure out the bite and we did with a deeper drop and then retrieval.  We proceeded to land some very large shad that put up a great fight.  After a couple hours a family came down and we assisted the young ones to get them on fish.  no fish pics since I got busy and I left soon after that.  Got my fill of shad catches and called it a day!  I left just after 10 am and there were about 20-25 people lined up on the shore (high tide at this point) and about 8-10 boats in the water.  As always....the "O" never dissapoints!
