Delaware flounder fishing 5/6-5/8
Spent a long weekend doing the rounds at my favorite inshore spots for flounder in the Lewes area. Fished from shore, pier, and wading. Caught 4 keepers to 20" over the course of the weekend and released a couple short fish too. Some fish were on bucktails with meat, and some jigging soft plastics. Wasn't fast action but I'll take any flounder I can get. Great weekend with fantastic weather.

Awesome stuff! Years ago, a buddy used to wade for them on the fly at Cape Henlopen. I always wanted to try for them like that but there were sharks!!
Time to go fishin' again!

That's a great place to wade. This is the time to do it, water is still cool so no sharks around yet.
