I stopped by on Thursday and asked if I could make a reservation for 10 for Mother's Day. They hesitated at 1st but finally took down my name and number and said they would have a table for me at 1:15p. We show up and the doors are locked. Hmmmm??
Luckily, another restaurant across form them were able to accommodate us.
As we were eating, this is what we saw.
I did get a chance to chat with them (in my native tongue) and while they were a bit surprised when I said I had a reservation, it was obvious that they were clearing the place out.
It's too bad. No clue as to why.
This was a good place to eat. Was.

It is hard to make it for restaurants. Sad.

Interestingly, this morning, when I looked up their menu, their Ashburn location was still on the website. It was scrubbed by the afternoon.
They have another location in Winchester (cheaper rents) but I am not driving out there to go eat. But will if I am in the area.

What a mess. I'm no expert on these things, but I wonder if that's why here in Stafford most of the brand new restaurants that opened up at Embry Mill are literally all fast food chains. Only a single independent owned place (and they aren't doing that well).

I sent the pic to The Burn and they did a little investigative work. More to come...maybe.
