Capt Mike Starrett available dates
For those who don't get Capt. Starrett's emails...
Here are the best dates for Mattawoman Creek fishing based on tide and timing. Naturally low tide at dark is good for topwater around the grass and pad edges.
High tide is best for getting back in the pads and grasses for that big snakehead and LMB. 2022 has more low tide dates than ever before.
High Tide Dates:
June 11th , 12th, 25th, 26th, 29th
July 13th, 14th, 27th
August 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th
Low Tide Dates:
June 4th, 8th, 9th, 18th, 19th, 22nd
July 6th, 7th, 8th, 20th, 21st, 22nd
August 10th, 11th
All evening trips are $275 for two persons.
I also have a three shad dates open April 6th, 7th, 8th for two persons at $325

Several of the good dates taken, but still plenty left.. Those three shad dates are still open BTW.

Only April 7th Open for shad. Plenty of Snakehead dates still open.
