Thanks for asking- usually, folks donate "fishing stuff". I have a good supply but can always use more. We have a new president and he is looking to grow the club.

Fishing stuff= rods, reels, spools of line, baits, hooks, lures etc.

I asked my boys if they wanted to go. They said yes, and said I have to cook ribs. So we’ll be there, with smoked ribs.
I also have some gear to donate.

So soon! How was this not on my calendar already?? My wife is working that day so I'll have the two kiddies by myself. I'll try my best to swing by, have my daughter fish, and then hopefully can stick around for lunch.

We had no club after Jacob and Niles graduated in the spring. No one stepped up and I feared it was over. The brother of one of the past members took the reign last week and he quickly picked a date!

BTW, Garret Vigil is the new President.

We had 11 HS kids attend the tourney as well as 2 non HS kids. The Club continues with the leadership of Garrett Vigil as President and Jackson Vickers as VP. This is a GREAT group of young men. This was the 1st tourney for all of them except for Savva. They had a blast and so did we.
HS Division:
1st- Garrett Vigil, 43"
2nd- Savva Brown, 32"
3rd- Anvith (need last name), 24"
Anvith also won Lunker with a 14" fish.
Ashton Chow barely beat out his brother Brandon for 1st place.
Pictures to follow!
And...the ribs were outstanding!
