I just got back form a 4 hour fly casting lesson w/ Joe Cappozola. I had won his services at the SoMD CCA banquet a few weeks back. I had never heard of Joe but I took a chance since I needed help. Man, was I lucky....this guy is GOOD!

I took fellow Cuban Carlos Maceo with me so he could get a refresher.

We worked hard all day on technique and it was well worth the effort. Even though I am a rookie fly fisherman, I feel like I jumped 2-3 grades with his instruction.

When I got home, I took the 4 wt out to the pond and tried my new casting abilities. In less than a 1/2 hour, I was rewarded with 5-6 nice, feisty blue gills. And most of my casts were decent!

I highly recommend Joe if you need to lean to cast or need a tune up....I will be back to see him soon!
