I went to the SoMD CCA banquet last Saturday in Waldorf. I was joined by my wife as well as Bev & Margaret Carroll. These events are fundraisers and they have lots of giveaways and auctions (and good food).

The Carroll won a bathroom accessory auction which included nice picture of a lighthouse. Word of caution: NEVER bid against Margaret, she is a tiger!

I came home with 12 parachutes for trolling, some small baits, a nice fishing tackle bag, a rod/reel combo for stripers, a 4-hour fly casting lesson and an incredible St.Croix LTJ rod/reel combo ($175 value).
