7-3 Cedar, briefly

I put a real effort here in the Village for the first time in a couple years and pushed the kayak out at 9AM on Cedar.

I was looking for fish on topwater, so I started with I 4" tail-walker plug in pumpkinseed colors and working the cattails on the north shore. After a few casts, I got a blow-up and set the hook.  Funnily enough it was a 6" actual pumpkinseed.  Miraculously, the fish somehow got the entire rear treble in its mouth and more miraculously I got the hook out without any apparent damage to the fish.  After that all largemouth bass.

1x - 9" on old BPS store brand popper plug
1x 12", 2x 10" on square-billed purple'silver Rapala crankbait
1x 10" on 5" Senko in purple/green w/silver flecks.

A good day, nothing picture worthy.
