Fun run for home..

Left the office at noon and as I lit up a sweet cigar I heard the sound of a tire puncture. As I crossed over the south cap bridge I heard clink clink sound coming from my truck. I knew I had run over something so I pulled over half way down south capital. Got out and saw a very large spike head mashed into my tire. To big to plug right there so I headed home slowly. One half mile from the barn the tire threw the spike and my horse shoe light came on. I quickly stopped and checked and dang tire was flat. I popped into 4x4 and did some off road to a back road away from screaming traffic. Parked and made a call to wife to let her know I have a flat and was going to change it.

Having never changed a flat on this truck I really messed this up. Broke the cover for the lugs. Broke the seat back in the back seat. And my little bottle jack also.. Luckly I had my X bar and was able to break loose the lugs and use the factory jack and got it changed. Hands are just starting to thaw out. Spare was low on air so I limped home and will address all the stuff I broke much later after the storm.

Have a good snow day guys and be safe..
