The end of a great 26 month run!

This morning, I went by D & S Marina to take care of some details concerning the cracked boat. It was sad to see it all cut up as parts are being taken off since the hull will ultimately be junked.

What I was most amazed by was the poor construction below the deck (stringers etc). While I am no expert, I could tell where the boat builder not only cut corners but didn't do what the are supposed to do in boat building. There was foam that was missing (more than 50%), parts that were cheap etc. I was amazed!

That boat caught a lot of fish in 2+ years but I never expected to bury it this soon. Regardless, a lot of great memories were made and lots of 1sts were had.

See you back out on the water as soon as we get this ice to melt!
