OK, testing the waters.....

I am looking to book Capt. Kevin Josenhans for a 3/4 day (6 hours, PM into evening) outing on the Susky Flats on Friday, April 22. The goal is to catch monster stripers on Top Water!

The price is $425 for 3 anglers plus tip. Need to book early to make sure we get a date....

That sounds like an awesome trip Ernie! I'm planning on heading out there in the kayak as much as possible march - april (barring any changes in closed season areas). I'm hoping to catch a monster on top water or a fly.

Have you fished the flats often? I'm looking to pick someone's brains on good areas to target and possible launch locations. I have some ideas, and I plan on making a weekend of it, or several, camping out at the state park.

Michael- I fished the flats once with a guide...never saw a fish.

Lots of the guys at TieFest will know the answer to your questions.....when I see you there, remind me and I will get you in front of them.
