Leon and I hooked up early yesterday. Day started out chilly, blue bird skis, and clear. Water was beautiful. Birds chipping everywhere, raptors raping, critters everywhere but the fish had a little lockjaw. Water was low but not bad. Had to watch where you paddle but no getting out of the yak to drag. Cleared every rapid but one with no bumping or grinding.
Leon was a casting machine
And the rapids were challenging but easy if you picked the right line

And the fish were all over the place. We got 4 different varieties of fish. Leon started with a cat but we never took a pix. The rest surprised me
The crappie would have made a nice sandwich
And this l/m was heavy. Needed both hands to lift the net. And although the wrong color, because I chase bronze, a little equity among the fish is a good thing.
Did manage a couple smallies too and wasn't around for a picture of Leon's 14'r
