Well, today they have named the first tropical storm that could eventually end up as a hurricane..........that is called "ALEX". Huh? It is Jan 13th!.....not supposed to have potential hurricanes in the winter. Bet that Wxrisk.com Facebook clown didn't post this .

Forecast to max out at 60 MPH (15 MPH from hurricane strength) an eventually turn north........but WTF in January?

Not really, it is predicted to go out to the north sea long before it could approach the US. Look out Greenland!

I heard that it became a hurricane today.

I hope there isn't a big storm around that time...I am supposed to be driving to OH and back that weekend

This thing is hitting the Azores.....don't think it will affect the US at all. But....you should check to see what's coming from the west and north. That's the weather that will affect you.

The crazy guy just posted: ARCTIC BLAST COMING JAN 18-20 ... yes there is STILL a good threat of a Winter storm for much of the Middle Atlantic JAN 22-23 -MILD pattern comes back JAN 25- FEB 3

In the years past, we've had many snow storms (some BIG) during Presidents Day weekend in February. Will it happen again or will we be fishing for yellow perch?
