OBX Guide or Headboat Recommendations?

I'm heading down to Corrola, NC the week after the 4th of July to spend the week with my family. I would like to take my stepdad, fiancé, brother in law, and step brother out to fish (maybe 1 or 2 more people would join) and I am looking for recommendations. Inshore or offshore! Thanks for the help!

Captain Aaron Kelly of Rock Solid Fishing.  Out or Oregon Inlet.  Top notch Cobia fishing.

Re: OBX Guide or Headboat Recommendations?

As Curly said plus Flat Out, Fly Girl, DOA, Beach Bum.

All are on the Recommended Guide page on the Forum but I believe they can only take 4.

If you have a bigger Crew, go on the Poacher. They know how to fish but are more expensive.

If you only have 3, you can fish the sound with Bryan DeHart.

Call me if you need more info.

Re: OBX Guide or Headboat Recommendations?

Thanks for the advice guys!!! I remember seeing a great reports from both of you which is what drew me to ask the question here! I'd like to catch a cobia... I'm confirming with the crew now to see who is in, if we're 3 and under sounds like we'll have some good options for inshore fishing.

Thanks again!

Re: OBX Guide or Headboat Recommendations?

Aaron and others are doing great with Cobia this year. But they've had many blowout days just like we have here.

My oldest caught his 1st cobia with Aaron back in '05.

I caught mine with Donnie Davis (DOA) 2 days later.
