Trailer jack quiz

I have two boats and two trailers. If Johnny has three trailers and only one boat then how many trailer jacks do I need??

The answer is two right now.. I bought two this spring and both have failed. First one in April broke the plastic wheel in half and the second one siezed up.
So bought a new one and used the parts to fix both of mine.. Till the siezed one once again froze up. So I buy the big two wheel jack 4 months ago and it breaks a gear. Now the new replacement one has froze up too.

So I think I try the Bass Pro jacks this time.

Last two where Fulton.

Time to geeze a bit but my big Gambler had one of those bumper like jacks on it and I never had an issue with it.. a little grease and it always worked..

I am thinking that the placement of the newer jacks further back allows more salt water to destroy it.

May need to have a plate welded forward on my big boat.

OH WELL...

Re: Trailer jack quiz

Still have the same jack on my '86 Bomber trailer.

Mike - You have to wind the jack up before you go down the road with your trailer attached to the truck! lol

Re: Trailer jack quiz

Those plastic wheels wear out after just 10 miles oddly enough.

Re: Trailer jack quiz

Sounds like you've cornered the market on faulty trailer jacks. It's like taking one for the team, not good for you, but great for the rest of us.

Good luck with your replacement.
