New World Record white crappie caught on 2/28/2012
6 lbs 1 oz, caught in the AM around 8:30 CST at Grenada Lake, Mississippi.
Someone please find a picture!!!

There have been stories of a 6 pound crappie floating around for a while now, and I've heard it was caught from at least a couple different lakes. As far as I know, there aren't any real pictures or actual verification of any kind. I'm betting it's just a fish tale.
But if anyone asks...tell them I caught it
