Will someone please turn off the cold weather? It was 40dF when we started but luckily, it warmed up nicely through the morning.

We (Bruce, Chris) had a good float today. Well, technically it's a float but Chris had to do a whole lot of rowing to try to get down river. We had just a slight headwind and virtually no flow on the river. The boy is gonna be jacked by the time this is over.

Still, we managed to catch about a dozen or so...





That one turned my fluke inside out!








... and we say many an eagle as well as our 1st osprey citing.

We think the spawn is over. Back to normal. Bruce caught his on the square bill, fluke and a paddle tail (on one of George's jigs). I caught mine on the flatworm and the fluke.

Lunch was at Big Belly's. You have to believe me that the sandwiches were incredibly good. Bruce had a smash burger, Chris and I had the Nashville chicken.

We inhaled the food!
