Good job spending that precious time with your grandson.

Thumbs up, Captain/Coach/Grandpa!

We have 13 kids, more than any other team.
Cool kids and they are enjoying learning the game.

Rain! We don't need no stinking Rain! Nice job Ernie. This is what stages the little ones for developing a team spirit.

Yep, it's nice to see them come together. This group is way ahead of schedule. They are ball players. And, they pay attention...well, most of the time.
After all, they are only 5-6 years old.

They do. But I feel my age after a practice or game. ![]()

What a great season! We went undefeated! Well...we don't keep score at this level but it sounded good.
This was a great group of players (5-6 year olds).
Getting ready for the National Anthem.
The kids paid attention and came to the park to play and have fun. Our jobs as coaches was to ensure that happened.

There were a few tears shed after our last game Saturday (with a pizza party right after). The kids really enjoyed the season and some were visibly sad to say their good byes. Lots of bonding went on during the season. And they worked hard which was evident in how much the progressed.
We had 7 great coaches: four dads, 1 grandpa and two older brothers (9 and 10). I don't think another team had that dynamic.
Great season indeed!
