Took my oldest daughter and oldest grandson out this morning. It was a bit chilly with a NE wind. We stayed close to the house and hunted fish with the side scan. Today was a jigging game. After 3 hours we had 4 nice keepers and called it a morning.
Fish tacos tonight!

Nice work!!
You ALWAYS have fish tacos!
You need to try Striper Vera Cruz!
Olive oil in a big saute pan.
Saute red onion with crushed red pepper and cracked black pepper.
Add chopped garlic and saute for a few more minutes.
Add a whole jar of your tomatoes that and break up, reserving the liquid from the jar.
Let the tomatoes cook for a few then add the reserved tomato juice.
Add 3 bay leaves, chopped cilantro, dried oregano, capers, chopped green olives, golden raisins and some white wine.
Let it simmer for a bit.
Take a baking dish or you could use an oven proof saute pan and place the raw fish in the sauce making sure to put the sauce on top of the fish.
Let the fish cook in the oven for 15 min or so.
Garnish with some chopped cilantro and parsley, some whole green olives and some pickled jalapenos with a side of white rice.
You'll thank me later.
